Classic Poem

Said he, " I'll follow my own way:
My whims shall be my laws and guides. "
But he forgot the universe
On every question taketh sides.

And, when the mighty engine hurled
His broken fortunes from the rail,
He found one will against God's world
Sure but of one thing, — it must fail .
