Epitaph On An Old Maid, An

Here lies, her debt of nature paid,
A handsome, proud, and ancient maid,
Who used (you'll think it strangely odd)

Thus broke the law that first was given
By the kind hand of parent heaven.
Be wise, ye fair, and this apply—
God orders you to multiply.
