looking at a sunset
mango stains on my shirt!

waking in the middle of the night
– the digital clock radio!

the washbasin in my bathroom
it’s like soap held in a big pink hand!

my disco suit
falls off the chair
like an advertising executive!

a paper butterfly
sails over the windowsill
– my Australia Council cheque!
