Of Gammer-Gurton Her Young Tooth

Z ANCLES a man a hundred foure yeares olde,
(As bookes report) had young teeth in his head:
Which worke of Natur's for a wonder tolde,
Because in such olde lawes young teeth were bred:
But now it's common it no wonder is,
Old men, and vomen too, haue oft young teeth.
To giue an instance, what say you to this?
Old Gammer-Gurton lately married with
Young Hodge for man, which of a boy she bred;
Because she had a young tooth in her head.
