Great God, Preserver of All Things

1. Great God, Preserver of all things, Most gracious King of Kings!
2. And whereas I, O Lord with thine Am grafted in the vine
Thou bountiful good husbandman, Canst do what no man can.
Christ Jesus, our Redeemer dear, By him some fruits to bear.

3. Spare not, spare not the pruning knife,
To keep my soul alive.
The judgments of thy righteous hand
In this wild woody land.

4. Make me, God, a fruitful branch
Below here, till I launch
To thee into eternity
That time which has no end.
