The Harper

First of all, I'll wake the Brook,
— Silver string! —
Then the grass, to lean and look
While we two do sing.
Then, before the people know,
— Silver string, golden string, —
'Twill be Spring!
All the trees shall breathe and blow,
Showering flowers to play at snow,
Over everything!
