On a Hopeful Youth

Stay , passenger, and lend a tear,
Youth and virtue both lie here;
As thou read'st, know thou hast seen
Virtue entomb'd at but fifteen ,
And if hereafter thou shalt see
Any young and good as he,
Think his virtues are reviving ,
For example of thy living ;
Follow him in death you must,
Then like this youth embalm thy dust.
