I cannot turn from Jesus,
He means so much to me;
My sins He has forgiven,
His grace has set me free.
I journey on to heaven
With Him, my Friend, my guide,
For He will never leave me
No matter what betide.

I turn from all that grieves Him
And seek to do His will;
He carries all my burdens,
I know He loves me still.
Oh, precious Lord and Saviour,
How dear He is to me!
I glory in His presence
And long His face to see.

I turn to Him in sorrow
When tempted and opprest,
I find Him all He promised,
My Strength, my Joy, my Rest.
His grace is all sufficient
However dark my way;
I worship and adore Him
And praise Him night and day.
