Ich will meine Seele tauchen.

I will baptize my spirit
In the lily's glowing core;
The lily shall tremble and hear it —
A song of the one I adore.

That song shall live and have me
Thrilled with a subtle power,
Like the kiss that once she gave me
In a sweet and poignant hour.
