Purananuru 123

If a man's drunk from morning on
and delighted with the crowd
in the court,
it's easy for him
to give away a chariot or two.

But the tall gold-covered chariots
given by Malaiyan
of everlasting fame,

given when he's sober,

outnumber the raindrops
on the rich peaks of Mullur.
