To a Lady

Howell and James, in taste correct,
Unfold their silken pack,
From which a pattern I select
Of Lavender and Black.
If you dislike it, you'll not press
Your lip to Lethe's cup;
For, should you quarrel with the dress,
You'll never make it up.
