Lines

I AM no politician,
I do not understand,
But could I be Ambassador,
I'd go to Nature land;
Be friendly with the Forests,
And any ragged tree,
Or lonely rock, could tell its woes
With confidence to me.

Make treaties with the sunsets,
The flowers, birds, and bees,
With raging, frantic oceans,
And smiling, happy seas;
No rare acute diplomacy
Is necessary here,
One only needs to love them much,
And hold them very dear.
