Little Lucy Lavender,
Aged just three,
Dances over the water,
Dances over the sea,
Dances by the streamlet,
Dances on the hill —
Little Lucy Lavender
She can't stand still!

Little Lucy Lavender,
Aged just three,
Sang as she clambered
Up the apple tree;
Sang in her bath-tub,
Sang in her bed,
For — " I can't stay quiet, "
