Marketing

I am going to market
To buy a loaf of bread;
But if the buns are shiny ones
I'll buy some buns instead.

I am going to market
To buy a Cheddar cheese,
And I shall tell the men who sell,
" A fresh one, if you please. "

I am going to market
To buy some juicy plums,
The men will say, " They're fresh to-day, "
To everyone that comes.

I am going to market
To see what I can see;
I'll look around and spend a pound,
And come back home for tea.
