My mind and bike skid. Everything I gained vanishes in blood in a jiffy. Her loud cry melts the frozen moment. She is no longer a timid girl. A serendipitous transformation of a stranger! An angel descends, not from the sky. Her vibrant call to save me echoes. She carves a way through the crowd. A helping hand is better than a hundred staring eyes. I get up from the blackout, buttressed by her hands. Pain is a pure state, where any aid is salient. Her heart emanates compassion. The world will never be barren.
