As we kissed maybe,
for the last time,
and stared into,
each other’s eyes,
a vista of moonlit walks,
on sweeping mountain paths,
of orange red clouds,
that drifted passed,
our morning risings,
of days we frolic,
on layered sliver strands,
of golden wedding peaks,
about to reach their acme?
unfolded as we drifted,
into each other’s arms,
as we now kissed,
our eyes revealed,
the many, many journeys,
we had gladly shared,
as we looked longingly,
at each other in admiration,
a fascinating lifetime,
was actually revealed,
all this and more unfurled,
as we once again kissed,
maybe for the last time,
but fingers crossed,
we’ll live this life forever
