resting with

the still of

early morning

in the absence

of any light

like a stream

flowing darkly

in the night

without effort

engrossed in

melodic bliss

pleasing resonance

smiling at

thoughts of

lovely people

new and old

and thankful for all

blessings bestowed

upon this life

now i remember
the warmth of
your smile and
the gentleness
of your touch
to an asking heart
receiving and accepting
your love.
