The cosmos are noble
All the wisps of stardust and heaps of color are higher than me
Unfathomably far away, they laugh
But I can hear them
They laugh like students
I am not worthy
The people around me are computers
Comparisons
Their struggles are better than mine
Their lives are longer than mine
The man in a wheelchair begging for money
He has character
A strong willed veteran with a compelling story
I didn’t earn anything
He should take my place, and I will rot in the street
And I will deserve it
Numbers are pointless
The tests and the judgements have no value outside of our minds
We all need water
We are at the mercy of a fucking basic compound
What’s the point
When all human evolution and changing skies bring nothing of merit
At least to me
Others can frolick free from existential coils
Smile in the face of ambiguity
Another reason to get angry at myself
To get furious at my transgressions of my own laws
The creator battering his own creation
I won’t be remembered for long
Maybe by close friends or family
Then they will die
When the wheels keep turning they don’t often look back
And I sure as hell don’t deserve a second glance
