I felt the distance for the first time today
Reminiscing about how we would spend the day
Happy memories leave me sad
And its this very distance I hate.
I felt how it took you away from me
And you took a piece of me with you too
I felt how it shook me astray from you
With the piece of me that will always stay with you
Right within you and lay with you
From the morning until the night
invite you to my mind and incite you if you find the words I want to say to you
I fail to describe
The tragedy of this

Put you out of reach
But stained you in my dreams..
A little too far to touch
The violence in the silence of my screams
Put you out of reach
A little too far to feel your warm body
The echoes of you laughing
Went a little further today
You can hear how they fade behind this mountain of emptiness
A little steeper now that your not here
A little hard to climb now that you have left
I felt the breeze today now that you not here
It found its way through the place where your hands should have been
A little colder that you not here to hold
A little bit lonely now that my arms are empty
The wind howls a little louder now that you are gone
You can hear how it screams the secrets of the dark
Now that you not here
Shadows find they way to my heart
Now that i am alone
It hurt a little bit more today
When thought of your smile
Invaded my mind
The distance grew greater today
When it's your lips I wish to kiss
Time moved slower
When I thought of the day when we will meet again
I died a little bit today
When it's you I missed most
