You were a woman of great beauty
In both your face and form.
Your life as constant as the sea,
With precious jewels you were adorned.
The glory of your raven hair
Was colored like a bird.
Your tresses were long,
And oh, how they flowed.
Your ruby lips made people stare.
All around your legendary fame was heard.
Upon you all the graces of Heaven were bestowed.

Your eyes were piercing and chestnut brown.
The shape of your almond eyes was grand.
Your lashes were well endowed,
And you blushed at many a man.
Your nose was pert and perfectly round.
And your face was in exquisite form,
Shaped intricately to be oblong.
Your persona was very warm.
In your praise, the people broke out in song.

The color of your skin, though not fair,
Was the color of purest bronze.
No one in the world could compare
To the vesture that you donned.
Though you were not very tall,
And your frame was very sleight,
You stood as though you were a tree.
Yes, you were so very small.
But seem to possess great height.
Regarding your pulchritude, all agree.
