Hush o'er azure stone ridge,
hypnotic wax moon dash,
wispy crescent rustle from
a piebald furry deer,
nocturnal stealth enshrouded
silver tint antler scoops,
limp orange leaf detritus,
canopy of maroon ink,
black mist dewdrops spill,
corral Northern Bobwhite quest,
shuddersome elk teeters on,
bituminous coal summit,
cast a pearl oyster glance,
into an uncanny  precipice,
enigmatic phenocryst ravines,
spellbound immersive trickle,
species of the dome shape,
muted in clandestine trot,
oe’r mushroom quandary in crossing,
to slink away the eerie stillness
but therein rests a skewed plot
muted whine against thin silk
wet socket yet not gleaned
the sky dark buffer missing
bramble strewn path
with taut crushed mica
hidey-hole lure unseen
for a species prone
to wander in spurts
a void as tangled
catch and trap menace
is there a star twinkle
to guide post such
a lone revered species
dream sky flare stirring
the labyrinth might daunt
under the tactile  trod
this camouflage per se
dim galenad intersperse
amid and among lost
world patch for pet
