Lost in shadows, a lonely soul,
Wandering aimlessly, out of control.
Yearning for solace, a heart heavy with pain,
Trapped in the darkness, a prisoner of the rain.

A whisper of hope, a gentle guide,
Reaching out, a hand outstretched wide.
Hesitation lingers, doubt clouding the sight,
But the truth calls out, dispelling the night.

Tired of the darkness, the endless night,
A heavy burden, weighing down tight.
The weight of the world, a crushing despair,
Yearning for release, beyond all compare.
