The way the golden beams of sunlight Shine through the trees. And the lush, green fields of grass Sway gently in the breeze. How all the beautiful flowers come out To brighten all our days. These are all the reasons why I do so love the spring! The way the birds wake up and sing Happy, joyful tunes. To lift up our spirits When the world is full of gloom. And the night frogs and crickets call With all their little hearts. To chase away the darkness of Each still and lonely night. How the warmth settles around us To chase away the cold. And the storms rumble with energy Letting excitement unfold. The graceful, floating butterflies Bring the promise of new life. These are all the things I do Much love about the spring!
