Spring, ripe and dulcet
usher for the vines
of mellow orchard
green leaf perch bird chirp
thaws harsh winter gloom
       
Plight of snowbound
cladding doused in
red sunlight ray
sea salt tides spread
                
Wild rose plot’s
vivid shades
signpost fate

A sprig
of fresh

mint
