Lost in your eyes
Those chocolate browns
So incredibly alluring they make my heart pound
They’re so dreamy it’s insane, affects are so addictive that now they’re my cocaine
Filled with raw emotion, feelings that you mask
While you have my own eyes watching your every motion as if it’s now my task
I look at you with love
You do too, I wish and pray to the one above
The charcoal of my eyes are overflowing with emotion; passion and warmth
Never being able to explain the feelings that have formed
Now time has passed and I’ve come to realize those eyes I’ve lost myself to, were merely a disguise
They were a trap that lured me in, leaving me alone for my head to endlessly spin
Now if you care or if you ever did, release me and set me free.
Allow me to be a dove and let me flee
From those eyes that I still love
You broke my heart and teared my soul in a single crack
Those eyes I fell in love with, never loved me back
