Of Mistress D. S
Of Mistress D.S.
Thy filed words that from thy mouth did flow,
Thy modest look, with gesture of Diane,
Thy courteous mind, and all things framed so
As answered well unto thy virtuous fame,
The gentleness that at thy hands I found
In stranger's house, all unacquainted I,
Good S., hath my heart to thee so bound,
That from thee can it not be forced to fly.
In pledge whereof, my service here I give,
If thou so wilt, to serve thee whilst I live.
