Nature's Drinking-Song

The earth drinks rain through every pore,
Through every root the tree,
The sea drinks rivers evermore,
The sun drinks up the sea,

The moon drinks up the sun his light,
All things in nature drink.
Since drinking is the common right
Come let us drink, drink, drink!
