Ne'er of thy watcher this heart of mine is quit

Ne'er of thy watcher this heart of mine is quit;
Tale-teller tale-teller cherisheth not, to wit.

" Tooth for a tooth and eye for an eye! " 'tis writ.

Like Jesus the wine-cup is, since live again
The dead by its special virtue maketh it.

Shall Jupiter dance to its sound in the sphere star-lit.

The chapters of " Praise " and of " Constancy " doth commit.
