'Twuz whin O'Connor shpoke the crowd
Grew pathriotic truly;
For him O'Dooley hit O'Dowd
And Healy shtruck O'Dooley;
And Redmond give Muldoon a swat,
And all wint well, begorry,
And there was Home Rule on that shpot,
Till to his fate O'Connor got,
An' sez, sez he: " For sayin' phwat
Oi did, " sez he, " Oi 'm sorry! "
