Only the Spring Returns

This green and burgeoned youth
Being by spring refused
Grew of his greenness loath.

Then summer through green suffused
All laughed in excellence
No light nor dark accused.

Masking the sphere's advance
Leaves hid what autumn learns
In a single naked glance.

Seasons return Mind burns
For beauty the body wore.
Only the spring returns.
All is unbalanced once more.
