Classic Poem

Will you lend your eyes to Christ
To weep for the souls of men
Will you give your heart to earnest prayer
To save a soul from sin?
Will you cause your feet to walk the way
Some sin-burdened soul hath trod?
Will you thrust forth a hand to guide and lead
That wretched soul to God?

Remember friend, God's Word hath said,
With fear this work to do,
Lest we should fail this God-given task
And other things pursue,
With trembling heart but purpose firm
The Word of God in hand—
This call to you goes forth today
To rally to the man.
