Pearl - Part 57

“Right well I know of this same thing,
two kinds to save is good and just,—
the righteous man His face shall see,
the harmless one shall come Him nigh,
Thus saith the Psalter in a verse,—
‘Lord, who shall climb Thy lofty hill,
or rest within Thy holy place?’
Himself to answer He is not slow,—
‘Whose hands in malice ne'er did hurt,
he that is clean and pure of heart,
there shall his step stand ever firm’
The innocent is saved by right.
