Classic Poem

We cannot hear His voice or see His face,
Yet, looking up along the unerring Line ,
We see it points H IM on His radiant throne.
Earth's center is beneath the foot of God,
And they will please Him best who bear the head
Erect, and walk uprightly on the earth.
'Twas thus with Hiram, widow's son,—he stood
Among the Builders like a polished shaft,
Along whose sides the P LUMB Line vainly sought
A trace of deviation from the proof.
