Purananuru - Part 123

If someone takes his seat every morning in his court
and drinks himself blissfully drunk, it's a simple thing
then to give away chariots! But Malaiyan, whose good name glows
and is never diminished, even without getting delightfully drunk,
gives away more lofty, ornamented chariots
than the drops of rain that fall on fertile Mullur Mountain!
