Purananuru - Part 130

Ay, you whose curving necklace glitters with its sapphires!
Within your land do the young elephant cows give birth
to ten calves at once? When I try to number the fine elephants
you have given away with an open, smiling face to those who came
singing of you and your mountain, they sum up to even more
than the spears that were thrown down
on the day you routed the Konkans up to the shore of the western ocean!
