Purananuru - Part 199

A flock of chirping birds never will stop to think,
“Yesterday we ate all the many fruit growing
on that huge branch of the sacred banyan tree!”
If they have gone to it once, they keep on going there.
Just like them are those who come in need. The men
of noble acts who welcome them own what they own
only for them. The need of men who come to them becomes their own need!
