Purananuru - Part 242

Young men do not don them. Women with their bangles do not
pluck them. The bard does not gently bend the branch down
with the tip of his yal and then adorn himself with the flowers.
Nor do the singing women wear them now. Cattan who overwhelmed
warriors with his powerful spear and was a man has died
and do you, jasmine! still blossom in his land of Ollaiyur?
