Purananuru - Part 344

Either they will bring in fine and massive wealth—cities
where full-feathered peacocks who have eaten the best of rice
rise up and fly and come to settle in a marutam tree near the water
when girls whose arms are dense with bangles call out to them—
or else they will bring on Martial Courage without principles—
the hostile spread of piercing fire and dense smoke—
one of these will surely come to be because of the lines
spreading on her mons, she who wants venkai
pollen for her body … a chaplet of sandalwood and cool kañci leaves. . . .
