Resurrection
The moment waits for my embrace
Neglected, I am as one who never knows
What love can offer and reward.
Life
So dearly missed, is truly
Tragic.
I surrender to my happiness
Give up allegiance to all those little things
That pretend to matter and matter not.
I take this moment to be, myself
Conceived
I my own creation and certain destruction.
Returned to the light
I travel beyond time
Re-born and re-spirited.
The promise I make of myself
At last and forever more
Fulfilled.
