To the Right Honourable, Thomas, Lord Folyot, Baron of Ballyshenam

That person who to goodnesse doth incline
Hath a mo fast lot , he will find in time,
On which if he relyes, he may be sure,
Most happily a fast lot to endure;
And such a fast lot he shall get thereby,
Seating him faster in his dignity.

Fast doth imply a lot that will not faile.
On whom so trusteth it shall great availe;
Lot fast who hath, it is his happinesse,
In fast lot , joy to have in his distresse:
On then, insue your fast lot mo fast yet,
Trusting thereto ere long your lot will get.
