Will you speak a word for Jesus,
Lo! he waits, he sadly waits,
Oh, confess him if thou wouldst his glory see.
At thy heart he's long been pleading,
Who would ope to thee the gates
Of the city of the ransomed and the free.

Bear your cross, a crown awaits
Those who bravely bear their burdens all the way.
Bear his standard high above you,
