Spring

Lo! the rosy morning breaking,
Pours its brightness o'er the earth,
Now from peaceful slumbers waking
Haste with songs to hail its birth.
Chorus . Hark the Hunter's horn is sounding,
O'er the distant hills rebounding.

Happy season! rich the treasure
Thou to us dost kindly bring;
Can we dream of aught but pleasure,
While we greet thee, gentle Spring!
Chorus . Hark the Hunter's horn is sounding,
O'er the distant hills rebounding.
