Her hand in my hand
her hair on my shoulder
and the road flying by
quickly, quickly

Her hand in my hand
her head on my breast
I kiss it there
while she touches me
finger by finger

There we were together
the road unreeling, spinning by
quickly
when the sudden beast of the road pounced
and our vehicle spun
turning us around
spinning with it
one moment
and then
her hair
her head
her body
her hand
her fingers in the dust
waving goodbye
finger by finger
