There, In Night's Great Purple Box

There, in night's great purple box,
I hid my seven jewels:
My women, my children, my horses,
My honor, my sword, my faith, and my race.
Solitude watches carefully,
So that none may steal them.

Three stout locks has the box which hides my jewels.
Let him who has jewels lock them with three locks:
With silence, and mockery, and laughter!
