Thy voice is in the winds and in the waters

Thy voice is in the winds and in the waters,
— And in the rolling thunder of the sea.
The clouds and waves are as thy sons and daughters,
And feature thee.

The changing light, the unchanging darkness, shape thee,
— Thy form is traced upon the empty air.
When in my heart of hearts I would escape thee,
I find thee there.
