The Uncareful Cow, Who Walked About

The Uncareful Cow, who walked about,
But took no care at all;
And so she bumped her silly head
Against a hard stone wall.
And when the Bump began to grow
Into a Horn, they said —
" There goes the Uncareful Cow, — who has
Three Horns upon her head!" —

And when the Bumpy Horn grew large,
" Uncareful Cow!" — they said —
" Here, take and hang this Camphor bottle
Upon your bumpy head! —
And with the Camphor rub the bump
Two hundred times a day." —
And so she did — till bit by bit
She rubbed the Horn away.
