If H OMER'S Spirit ev'ry Soul enflames,
While charmed with a L IST of W ARRIORS ' N AMES ;
How shall the E AR of A NGELS take delight,
In many a G ERMAN W ARRIOR — B RITISH K NIGHT ! —
Such as thine E PIC E LEGANCE recounts;
Where EACH , held up, e'en Chivalry surmounts
A F ERDINAND ! — enchanting to the ear! —
And G RANBY ! M USIC , G ODS T HEMSELVES might hear!
Sing, on, B RIGHT B ARD , resound their lasting praise;
And as thou giv'st them — wear E TERNAL B AYS .
