Classic Poem

We will trust in God as we onward go,
We will sing of his love forever;
Tho' the way seems long, and the clouds hang low,
He has promised to leave us never.
He has left a work for us each to do,
Full of glory beyond all telling;
'Tis the work of love, and the victory,
We shall sing in the Father's dwelling.
We will trust in the Lord, and work away,
We will trust . . . . till the sun goes down,
We will trust until we hear his call,
Then go home to receive a crown.
We will trust in God and along our way,
We will tell to the world the story;
Then, with saints and angels around the throne,
We forever shall sing his glory till the sun goes down, . . . trust, we will trust until we hear his call,
