When I grow up, I think I'll be

When I grow up, I think I'll be
A G-Man brave and bold,
Or maybe a fearful pirate
And bury lots of gold.

When I grow up, I think I'll be
A sailor full of glee,
Or maybe just a diver
And explore the deep, dark sea.

When I grow up, I think I'll be
A jockey quick and small;
Or maybe a football hero
Who always runs the ball.

When I grow up, I think I'll be
A doctor kind and smart;
Or maybe be like Tony
And push an apple-cart.

When I grow up, I think I'll be
A man that makes ice cream,
Or maybe just a common bum
And sleep all day and dream.

It's hard to tell just what I'll do
When I grow up some day.
So I just think I'll wait and see
Whatever comes my way.
