Wit's Pilgrimage - Part 25

L OUE , like a Center, in a Circle standes
As neere to Beggars as Hee doth to Kings:
And like a Kinge them both, alike, Commands,
As Hee commands, likewise all other Things!
What Hart is of such steely temprament
(Or much more hard:) (for, Steele the Magnet loues)
But gently bowes, when it by Loue is bent?
Only thy Heart (hard Heart! ) Hee nothing moues!
Nature nere made what hath no grace in it;
Then, thee she made not, that art so vnkinde:
So, thou art nothing , sith all Beeings fitt
The Endes , to which, as Meanes , they were assign'd:
Women , are Meanes that Men Bee , bee not then
As Nothing but with Something , bring some Men
